Generations to Come ...

In this digital age, Lana and I have asked ourselves why we continue to create special heirloom portraits that will be passed down through the generations.  We started our portrait work in 1981 at a small studio in Beverly, Massachusetts and since then have seen our portrait work sought after across the country.

There is a place for photographic memories in the digital realm, but we have always treasured the printed and displayed portrait. It has always been our hallmark. From the early days in the darkroom hand printing our portraits, to the recent digital advancements that allow us to achieve similar or better results, we have always attempted to maintain a high level of craftsmanship in photographic techniques, lighting and materials … Old School!

Although our close to 40 year career has taken many turns as we focused at times on weddings, commercial projects and lately a series of Fine Art prints, we continue to find great satisfaction in capturing the precious memories of childhood — portraits that will be enjoyed for future generations to come.

We are very thankful to all our past clients/friends for allowing us to take this journey together.

It’s impossible to choose just a few of our favorite children’s portraits of all time. What follows is a very small sampling.
